Tonight, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., I’ll be DJing Jonathan Beach Club’s Summer Kick Off Party. Now, if only the weather would act a little more “summery”.

There were so many great performances and speakers. Life Coach, Michelle King, reminded everyone to keep our relationships sexy, sacred, sultry, sane, salutary, sweet and satisfying. And Amy Lawrence Dance demonstrated the foxtrot, rumba, and salsa.

So many great vendors!

Last night, I played music at Royal/T Cafe for Bereket Kitchen’s pop-up supper club Valentine’s Day dinner. It was so sweet seeing all the couples and friends celebrating the special day. Bereket Kitchen served up some delicious Ethiopian fusion cuisine too.

For this event, I created an upbeat lounge vibe, mixing world music with electronic jazz. I wish I recorded it!

Tomorrow night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., I’ll be playing music at Benefit Cosmetics for their holiday party. I can’t believe it’s already that time of year again!!! And that I DJ’d this exact same party last year. Time really flies, doesn’t it?

DJ Tessa exceeded my expectations!  She was professional from the start.  The day of the show she arrived early, brought all her equipment, and was able to understand what type of music I needed for the event.  She allowed me to proof the music prior to the event as well!  I would highly recommend her for any event and will definitely be using her in the future!

On Saturday, December 3, 2011, I DJ’d a very private afternoon fashion show at the Jonathon Club in downtown Los Angeles, unveiling Sue Wong’s 2012 Spring line of evening gowns. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any photos at this private event. But, here is a link to the mix I put together for the show!
