It’s 2013! Happy Belated New Year! I’m still having trouble believing it’s 2013, and I’m well overdue for updating this blog. So, here’s what I’ve decided to write about for my first post of 2013: My favorite tracks of 2013 so far (in no particular order.)
Justin Timberlake (feat. Jay-Z) – Suit & Tie
This is a nice upbeat track I see myself playing at weddings and lounges.
Toro y Moi – Never Matter
Never Matter is my favorite track off his recently released album, Anything In Return.
Ra Ra Riot – Angel, Please
Foot tapping, finger snapping indie pop.
A$AP Rocky featuring Drake, 2 Chainz & Kendrick Lamar – F**kin’ Problems
Definitely won’t be playing this one in public anytime soon, but I’ll appreciate its radio play until they burn it out.
A couple of new releases to look forward to are Tegan and Sara’s Hearthrob and Local Natives’ Hummingbird, both set for release on January 29. I’ll give an update once those come out.
