Netflix's The Brothers Sun Premiere Afterparty

DJing for the premiere of Netflix's The Brothers Sun was an experience that I won't soon forget. As a Premiere and Corporate Event DJ, these opportunities allow me to create unforgettable atmospheres that perfectly complement the occasion.

One of the highlights of this event was curating a playlist that featured a mix of AAPI artists and current hits. I mixed in artists like Jason Chu, Rich Brian, Yaeji, and Tokimonsta, as well as Cantopop and Mandopop, paying homage to the rich musical heritage of the AAPI community. Closing out the evening with Teresa Teng's classic "The Moon Represents My Heart" was a particularly special moment, as it’s part of the soundtrack and resonates deeply with many.

The premiere was attended by a host of AAPI artists and cast members, including the legendary Michelle Yeoh. It was inspiring to be in the presence of such talented individuals and to be a part of a celebration of AAPI representation in the entertainment industry.

The event was expertly produced by JWang Consulting, who did an incredible job of incorporating elements from the show into the branding of the party. A couple of my favorites were the congee bar and pastries from Kee-Wah bakery, which added a delicious and unique touch to the evening.

I want to extend a huge thank you to Netflix, The Brothers Sun cast and crew, and JWang Consulting for including me in this unforgettable event. DJing for premieres like this is a dream come true, and I can't wait for the next opportunity to bring my unique style to the entertainment industry's biggest events!
