CoverGirl's 3D Mascara Launch Party
Hey, beauties! DJ Tessa here, sharing a little behind-the-scenes scoop from a fabulous event I recently DJed for CoverGirl. We were celebrating the launch of their new Eye Enhancer 3D Mascara—a game-changer in the beauty world, let me tell you! This product is designed to lift and fan out even the smallest lashes, thanks to its unique 50° curved fiber brush and keratin-infused formula. And with up to 24 hours of wear, it’s perfect for all-day glam. But let’s get into the event itself.
The launch took place in Mid-City Los Angeles, though I can’t spill all the details about the location. What I can say is that the vibe was on point! Picture an all-pink mini-golf setup, with beauty influencers and content creators everywhere. Shiraz Creative, the production company, absolutely nailed it with their attention to detail, from the hors d'oeuvres and drinks to the mini golf and makeup sessions.
As for the music, I wanted to keep the energy fun and lively. The playlist was packed with upbeat, girly pop and global tunes to match the event's playful vibe. Think Charlie XCX tracks like “360,” “Von Dutch,” and “Apple,” mixed in with pop classics like Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” and Fergie’s “Glamorous.” I also threw in some Latin vibes with remixes of Kali Uchis’ “Telepatía” and Karol G’s “Provenza.” And of course, we couldn’t forget a bit of KPop with Illit’s “Magnetic” and NewJeans’ “OMG” and “Super Shy.”
What I loved most about this event was how everything came together so perfectly—the music, the theme, the people. It was a night full of creativity, beauty, and just plain fun.
